Erin Condren Planner: Review + What I Got

I’ve been getting Erin Condren planners for the past three years now and it is safe to say that I am OBSESSED.  With how crazy busy my life is, I need some type of organizer to keep me sane.  I go to school full-time and work full-time, and also I have a life (lol), so having this keeps everything running smoothly…for the most part.

The first year I got a planner I ordered the regular life planner, and that is when I first started getting into it, so I didn’t really know what to order.  I used it regularly, but as I did more research on them I realized some girls got really into it.  At the end of each week they would sit down and plan the week out using stickers, washi tapes, and more crafty things.  I really tried to get into the whole thing, but it turned out way more time consuming then I wanted it to be.  So, I decided to stick with the main purpose of it and not the decorating side of it, so my planner is filled with a bunch of appointments and times and things, but other than that, that is about it.

After ordering my first planner and realizing what it was all about, I decided to go with a different planner then I got before because I didn’t like everything so smushed together.  I got the binder type planner for this last year, which unfortunately they don’t sell anymore.  I got a quote on it that said “Grateful & Thankful”, and just did the monthly layout which I LOVE. The day-to-day didn’t work for me anymore after I graduated high school, because my life wasn’t simple and plain anymore where I could plan every hour of everyday.  So switching to the monthly was a huge change for me and I really enjoy it better than the day-to-day one, because I like seeing what my month looks like all together!

For this upcoming year, they don’t sell the bigger planner anymore like I said previously, so I switched over to the regular life planner which is what I started out, but now i just have the monthly layout.  It is a lot smaller then the one I have now, so that will take some getting used to, but I won’t know until next year.  Since I ordered during their launch, I ended up getting a free notebook (thank you Erin!), and also some fun stickers that I’ll maybe (probably never) use.  Whoops.

Anyways, I am definitely not an Erin Condren planner professional, so if you are looking for one of those I recommend going to YouTube and watching either her or her.  They are my favorite!  Even though I don’t use the stickers, there is something about watching these videos that totally gets me motivated to be organized and on top of things!  Thanks for stopping by-Now I’m off to Palm Springs…

XO,

Danielle Alana
