Brush Me- Update & Review

Hey guys!  Long time no talk ๐Ÿ˜‰ Just a mini life update- life has been pretty crazy lately.  I started my last semester to receive my two associates degrees, and even though I am all online this semester, I still have a full set of classes which takes time…not to mention I work full-time.  Call me crazy, I am fully aware that I already am lol.  Besides school and work going back into full swing, I have a relationship to keep up with too! ๐Ÿ˜‰ If you missed my post all about Tim, you can find that here.

Anyways, recently I received teeth whitening products from the company Brush Me.  They reached out to me over Instagram, and if you don’t already know this, I definitely try to keep up with whitening my teeth!  Side note: I use to get a lot of questions on how I kept my teeth white, and I always just used whitening strips from Crest.  Then when I was over at one of my friends house, I saw that he used a special toothpaste that was by Crest and it was waaay cheaper, I think it is between $12-$14.  I started using that and brushing my teeth with it 2-3 times a week and that was right around when I started my blog.  I still use that and it still works great for me, but I won’t say no to trying new products.

Back to Brush Me ๐Ÿ™‚ They sent this to me and it took kind of awhile to get here (it shipped from Russia!) so I was super pumped when it came in the mail.  So if you do decide to order this, take into consideration that it takes awhile to ship, unless you don’t live in the U.S.  I did an unpacking on my Instagram stories, but if you missed it I have pictures on this post!  If you saw the unpacking then you can skip the next part.

I think the packaging of the whitening paste was pretty cute.  It has the color and flavor of it on the top of the lid and it comes in a little circular holder, and the paste looks questionable.  I admit I was pretty thrown off by the color of it and so was TIm.  I don’t know what color I was expecting it to be, but definitely not charcoal lol.  Other than that though, the packaging is really simple.  It comes with a lid over the whitening paste, so once you remove that the paste is good for two to three months I believe.  Don’t worry though- all of this information comes with your package.

Onto the review part.  First things first, a little goes a long way!  I thought I grabbed a small amount but since this paste is so thick I grabbed a little too much.  I used the applicator stick but after learning my lesson, I only use a pea size amount.  When putting it on my teeth, I made sure not to swallow it and brushed it all over my teeth.  Like I said, this paste is thick so I use a separate tooth brush to use this instead of my everyday one, so I can just throw it away once I’m done with the paste.  I found it a little difficult to get it completely out of my mouth, but not too hard.  Once I rinsed thoroughly a couple of times and flossed a couple of my teeth that it was stuck in, the paste was all out.  I definitely noticed my teeth were a bit shinier after using it just once, and now my teeth seem to be whiter!  I use it 3-4 times a week and I’m really happy with the results and the flavor I chose.  Tim has been using his the same amount and he thinks it works great too, except he doesn’t recommend buying the Lemon flavor since it is very strong.

Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy my reviews and I’m looking forward to some Fall Fashion posts!

XO,

Danielle Alana
