Skin Care Essentials

As you guys know, Saranghae is ride or die skin care line right now.  I haven’t changed my skin care routine since I received their products in October (besides adding a clarisonic to the family), and I just received my second package of the products because I finished everything else!  Face wash, serum, eye cream, moisturizer, GONE.  I wanted to go into more details in today’s post and also go into more before and afters of what my skin was like before.

The main complaint I have about my skin is the texture of it.  I get the occasional breakout here and there when I’m hormonal, but other than that my skin for the most part is ok.  I try to be happy with it, which for the most part I am, because I know it could be worse.  Unfortunately, I feel like a lot of the things that would help my skin are products and treatments that are SUPER pricey.  I ended up doing some research on people of certain ethnicities that are known for having amazing skin.  Specifically, Koreans.

On Saranghae’s home page, they go into detail about the ingredients that go into there products that make them so great.  Some of the ingredients include phellinus linnets mushroom ginseng sam.  These two ingredients do AMAZING things for your skin, like having cancer fighting properties and being known to keep Koreans alive longer.

When using their skin care line in the morning and at night, I use almost every single product.  I always wash my face with the oil and foam cleanser, and then go in with serum.  Just putting the serum on makes me feel like I’m losing age while applying!  My favorite part about the wash is that it literally looks like GOLD.  And it shimmers.  What more could a girl ask for?  My last step is to moisturize with the firm and lift regeneration cream.  It leaves my skin feeling soft, and it gives it an extra boost.  It gets rid of all of my redness as well, which is a HUGE plus for me when applying makeup after.  The last step that I use is the eye cream.  I only apply this at night, specifically because during the day I usually have makeup on and I feel it defeats the purpose.  When going to bed, I know there is nothing on my face and also that it will soak in and get to work over night.

If you haven’t already noticed, I’m not really a selfie kind of girl.  I rarely take them and when I do, they never get posted.  I feel that in all my pictures they are for the most part far away, and since I have makeup on you can’t really tell the difference between before and after.  But for the sake of this post and telling you guys what keeps my skin going, I am going to attempt it with hopes that you can see a difference!

This was before Saranghae.  Again, you can’t see much of a difference but I have makeup on here.  To me, my skin looks dull, washed out, and dry.

I know everyone’s skin is completely different, and each skin type requires a different amount of work, but this is what works for me.
