Hi loves! Long time no see 😉 A busy season is upon us (at least for me!) so I’ve been trying to soak in as much calm as possible. Our Summer takes off this weekend with our first vacation and then the streak continues for awhile. I’m SO excited to take you guys along for the ride because life is going to get exciting! Today’s post is about where you can find the best bathing suits, and where I shop for mine! I rounded some from my favorite stores to help you get prepared for vacation or just for some time by the pool! I categorized them by what kind of suits you are looking for since everyone has a preference, so scroll to find some major swim inspo!
The Cheeky Girl
Where my cheeky girls at?! If you like your bum to catch a little bit of sun, then this section is for you! I’ve gone through phases in these types of bikinis, I will admit. I know every girl has! In high school I was all about it, then college came around and I was over it, and now I’m open to it for only special occasions. Weird how that works! I linked the best cheeky bikinis of the season below, so scroll through the carasouel to do some shopping!
Bikini Season
These types of swimsuits are always my go-to! I prefer strapless because I LOVE a good natural tan, but I also think its fun when bathing suits have straps. It always adds a little sass! I put a mix of strapless, tank, and bandeau type bikinis. These are all around really good on coverage!
Feelin‘ HOT HOT HOT
The last two years I would say, one pieces have been making a TOTAL come back! And I’m not mad about it! In high school I was completely against it, and honestly wanted nothing to do with it. I was all about being the cheeky girl or bikini season. Now that brands have spiced things up and made really cute ones, low backs, sexy, criss cross, I’m all over it! This is personally my favorite section.
Bahama Mama
Where my mama friends at?! Being a nanny, I feel like over half of my friends are moms– and its honestly my favorite! We just get each other, you know? I know Summer can be intimidating for some, but whether you are looking to cover up or be unique at the pool, I rounded up some of my favorite tankini designs that are so cute and also very decently priced!
Woo! That was a long one! For this post I tried to keep everyones price range in mind, meaning I got some in the $30 range and also few in the $100 range. I personally don’t spend more (try not to at least) than $50 on suits, especially now. I use a lot of mine for pictures and also just mainly need something cute and practical- I don’t find it necessary to break the bank. But for those looking to invest, there are ALWAYS some good finds in that range.
Stay tuned for my next post, which is How I Pack!
XO,
Danielle Alana
