Our last stop of our Texas trip was Dallas. Even though I loved each city we stopped in for different reasons, I’d be lying to you if I didn’t say that Dallas was my favorite. The hospitality, the surrounding areas, the people, our hotel, the homes, I loved every bit of it!
LOCATION:
Omni Dallas was located in a convenient spot for us given that everything we did was right around downtown, which is where the hotel is near. We also explored other areas, but I definitely feel that being near downtown while traveling in to somewhere like Texas is necessary! Especially as a tourist. Everything was driving distance and it was so nice being in the center of it all!
POOL & VIEWS:
Growing up my family vacations consisted of lots of pool days and relaxing. That being said, it’s safe to say I have a pretty good eye for a great pool and a great view—and I also really appreciate them! Omni had the most beautiful infinity pool on the 4th floor that over looked downtown. Complete with a pool bar and the spa right next door, there was lots of relaxing to be done! We ordered snacks from the pool bar one day and the service was quick and fast. You can’t go wrong with chips and dips poolside IMO!
FOOD:
The food options in and around the hotel are ENDLESS. We had breakfast one morning at Texas and Spice which is right in the lobby when you enter! Tim ordered a chorizo burrito breakfast and I split cornflake French toast with Enzo—both were delicious! It’s always convenient (especially when traveling with a toddler) to have food options close. Also downstairs was a cafe where we got iced coffee every morning–order the vanilla iced coffee then thank me later. 🙂 Make sure to check out this Instagram page because even more food options are listed here!
CLEANLINESS & COMFORT LEVEL:
Basically my second home, meaning I could easily move into the Omni Dallas and be completely comfortable and happy! You can tell everything at this hotel is definitely more upscale–which honestly I expected nothing less since it was the Omni. This was our second time staying at an Omni and we were not disappointed! From TV’s in the bathroom to downtown views, they were impressing us left and right. Also a random side note. If you know me then you know I have high expectations when it comes to cleanliness. There is nothing worse (to me) then being at a hotel and not feeling at home and just having that gross, “greasy” feeling. You know what I mean? Not once did I feel that here, and I really appreciate all the extra steps they took to have the whole place feeling spotless and comfortable!
STAFF:
Talk about being my new best friend. We were welcomed by the sweetest staff when we arrived, and not only that, but they also had a cute kids bag to give to Enzo while we were checking in. That definitely gained them some points, ha! Throughout our entire stay everyone was so accommodating and it’s always nice to be greeted when you leave and come back. They constantly checked in on us trying to help or give suggestions whenever they could! It’s little details like this that truly make such a big difference.
Those are few of the main points as to why I loved this hotel so much, but in case I didn’t sell you enough, let the photos speak for themselves! 🙂
XO,
Danielle Alana
